FIRE DRILLInventive. Challenging. Fun.
To provide Austin comics a writing outlet, I ran a weekly open mic with some new rules. I provided 4 topics and the comics had 30 minutes to write 3 minutes of material. Experience it on Twitter every week @AFireDrill or #AFireDrill. |

Pass the MicPass The Mic combines live stand-up with a dose of one-upsmanship. Several of Austin's best comedians perform a prepared set and then try to outdo each other while riffing off audience suggestions. All of the competitiveness-none of the stakes. It was a fun show. There were audiences members that brought a full bar setup. |
